smart eq fortwo coupeThe Smart EQ fortwo cabrio is the 2 seater smart car with style and is possibly the smallest cabrio in the world.

Now owned 100% by Mercedes, both the Cabrio and the Coupe options has a 17.6kw battery capable connected to an electric motor delivering a maximum power of 60kw (82hp) and 160 NM of torque. The Smart EQ fortwo cabrio can be charged at public charging stations or a Wallbox from smart eq fortwo cabrio20 to 100 percent in just 3.5 hours. The optionally available 22 kW on-board charger is even faster. Maximum range is stated at 96 miles.

The EQ has a retardation system that charges the battery as soon as you take your foot off the accelerator. It also has a clever radar sensor that monitors the traffic in front of the vehicle and automatically selects the optimum retardation level.
