The Peugeot iOn Electric car is a cute, nippy compact city car.
The Peugeot iOn, just like the Citreon C-Zero is a re-badged version of the Mitsubishi MiEV. It is currently priced from £15,995 including the plug-in car government grant.
A compact city car, with one trim level and model type. It’s nice and compact at less than 3.5m long, about the same as the Smart EQ ForFour, and is narrower than standard cars at 1.475, excluding the mirrors! The basic specs for the Peugeot iOn include;
- automatic lights
- USB connectivity and Bluetooth
- RDE CD Audio system
- heated driver’s seat

- alloy wheels
- Peugeot Connect SOS
Range and Charging
Charging by the basic 220V domestic plug will take over 9 hours. Using one of the many fast chargers available around the UK a full charge can be achieved in 30 minutes.
It has a 16 lithium-ion battery pack with a range of 93 miles and a top speed of 81 mph.
