The MINI Cooper S E Countryman PHEV  Overview

The Mini Cooper S E Countryman PHEV is a sporty looking family car with some nice ‘electric’ touches. The petrol and electric motors combine to give a total power output of 224bhp with gives it a very nippy 0-62mph of 6.8 seconds. Charging times are quoted at 3 hours 15 minutes on a normal domestic supply for its 7.6 kwh battery.

Priced from £33,500 including Government Grant saving.

In standard setting AUTO eDRIVE, the Mini Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 runs on battery power only up to 55 mph . At higher speeds the petrol engine is automatically combined. In MAX eDRIVE mode the car is powered by the electric motor alone up to 78 mph . It also has a save battery mode to relieve the capacity of the high-voltage battery or raise its charge status to at least 90 percent.
